ED HALEBIAN

Ed Halebian, is a Los Angeles based TV producer and production executive. He is series creator of the internationally broadcast Very Odd Jobs, featuring people with the world's most unusual occupations. The series currently airs on Discovery Kids Canada and in more than a dozen other countries. Halebian also serves as U.S. Rep for Canadian production and distribution company Partners In Motion.

From 1996 through 1998, Halebian served as Production Consultant to Central European Media Enterprises (CME) during the company's growth years launching TV stations in Germany, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. He was active in the development and production of original series programming for the CME stations. Recently, Halebian has been serving as Programming Advisor to media-developers in the Middle East region planning to launch entertainment-oriented commercial TV channels for the young-adult audience.

Prior to working in the international broadcast market, Halebian produced and directed nationally syndicated TV shows in the United States. He began his career as a production manager on the early-1980's NBC series Real People, as well as numerous network variety-specials. Halebian is a graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where he received his degree in TV and radio..
