CRIME STORIES VIII AIRS ON INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY (ID)

March 4, 2011 (Regina, SK) Partners in Motion and international media company and CS Series Productions VIII, Inc. are pleased to announce the broadcast of the eighth season of Crime Stories on the Investigation Discovery (Discovery ID) Channel in Canada premiering on March 1 as Deadly Intent.

Crime Stories VIIIis a documentary television series that takes the viewer behind the yellow tape to witness investigators as they work to capture some the most elusive criminals throughout modern history.
This season, we follow:

Episode 49 Girls Just Wanna Get Found: The 22 year pursuit of a pedophile who murders a curious 13-year-old girl.
Episode 50 The Long Stemmed Killer:  An international manhunt for a millionaire who murdered his wife using a deadly flower deliveryman.
Episode 51 The Russians Are Killing:  A Russian kidnap gang and the brutal, cold-blooded murder of five innocent people.
Episode 52 A Way With Murder: A serial spousal killer, who is shackled 22 years after his first deadly divorce.
Episode 53 The Killer Schoolboys: Two university students who shock their community by murdering an aboriginal sex-trade worker.
Episode 54 The Kid with the Hollywood Haircut: A teenager who murders an innocent, escapes the death penalty, then flees, evading capture for 40 years.
Episode 55 The Lethal Injector: A nurse who injects her patients into cardiac arrest so that she can play the hero.
Episode 56 The Bully Kills: A murderous teenage girl who beats and drowns her rival while her friends keep quiet.

Crime Stories VIII has been airing in the United States on A&E’s Biography Channel since beginning of December and will be broadcast in the French language on Canal D.  Other channels include CBS Chellozone (Various international territories) and The History Channel UK / Crime and Investigation Network.

This series was made possible with the involvement of A&E Television Networks, Canal D / Astral Communications, the Saskatchewan Film Employment Tax Credit, the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit, the Canada Media Fund, and Harmony Entertainment Inc.
