PARTNERS IN MOTION ANNOUNCES DISASTERS OF THE CENTURY SERIES PREMIERE

Chris Triffo, President, and Ron Goetz, CEO, are pleased to announce that Disasters of the Century (5 X 60 min.) will premiere on History Television, beginning Wednesday, February 14th, 2001 at 10:00 p.m. EST, and continue every Wednesday with repeats airing each following Sunday, at 7:00 p.m. EST for five weeks.

Disasters of the Century is a documentary series that looks not only at the devastating toll of natural and man-made disasters, but also the far reaching implications of each tragedy on our own social history and how something that happened long ago affects the way we live today. Each episode goes beyond the headlines to bring two disasters to life.  With actual footage or photographs, gripping re-creations and the survivors terrifying memories, we will delve into a world that few live to talk about.

In keeping with the spirit and approach of Partners in Motion's award-winning documentary style, Partners in Motion, is pleased to announce that they will be producing 8 more episodes of the millennial Disasters of the Century series.

"This series has begun to take on an exciting life of its own and has turned into one of Partners in Motion's premiere documentary series productions," said Goetz. "There has been a high level of interest in the initial 5 episodes and we are excited to announce that we will be adding an additional 8 programs to the series."

Disasters of the Century is produced in association with: History Television, SCA (Saskatchewan Communication Network), Canal D (Astral) and Harmony Entertainment Management Inc., with the participation of SaskFilm (Saskatchewan Film Employment Tax Credit), the Canadian Film or Video Tax Credit and the Canadian Television Fund created by the Government of Canada and the Canadian Cable Industry.
