December 7 , 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Regina based Emmy® award winning Partners In Motion is pleased to announce an open house in order to celebrate the expansion of its head office and High Definition post-production facilities and studio space. Total expansion costs exceeded 1.5 million dollars and make Partners in Motion a fully integrated HD facility, one of only few in Canada. The expansion includes the acquisition and renovation of an adjacent building which is 6000 square feet in size in order to house production offices, studio space and an expanded state of the art HD post production facility. A major component is the addition of an Avid Unity system, which provides many benefits to the existing infrastructure of the company. These benefits include improved workflow efficiency through true simultaneous sharing of uncompressed High Definition media assets between the multiple HD edit suites owned by the company and a large expandable storage capacity of 14 Terabytes. "This expansion represents our ongoing commitment to technical and creative excellence and will complement our existing High Definition facilities, thereby further increasing our competitive advantage in the global marketplace", says CEO and Executive Producer Ron Goetz. The official opening will take place at the company head office (2704 10th Avenue Regina, SK) at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 and will include tours, demonstration and refreshments. Regina Mayor Pat Fiacco will be in attendance along with representatives from the Canadian Television Fund and SaskFilm.
