Saskatchewan's Partners in Motion Makes the Grade With Award Nominations

Regina-based, Emmy® Award-Winning Partners in Motion is proud to have gained recognition for their extensive 2004 production slate. The television production company was recently nominated for awards at both the Yorkton Short Film and Video Festival and the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival.

Crime series Crime Stories and historical documentary Escape from Iran aired on History Television and were both nominated in the "Best of Saskatchewan" at the Yorkton Short Film and Video Festival. Crime Stories also gained a nomination in the Documentary Series category. The Golden Sheaf Awards will be determined on May 28th, 2005.

Additionally, Crime Stories, Escape from Iran and series Very Odd Jobs (Discovery Kids) were nominated for awards at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival to be held April 22nd to May 1st.

"We love what we do," says CEO and Executive Producer Ron Goetz, "so to gain recognition for a job well done is really the icing on the cake."

The success of 2004 adds to Partners in Motion's already extensive slate of quality programming. The production company recently entered its 12th year of business with a library of over 200 hours of completed programming.
