July, 2006

The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative in collaboration with Partners In Motion would like to announce that they will be hosting a week-long Film Camp.
The Partners in Motion Film Camp for youth ages 12 to 15 is scheduled for the week of July 10 - 14 and held at the Filmpool ( #301 - 1822 scarth Street).

This camp is designed to take youth through the basics of filmmaking; learn how to make a film from script to screen! Instructors will work with you to write a script, make a storyboard, make a shot list and learn the basics of camera operation.

Young actors will also have a chance to shine as they work with their fellow students to createtheri own unique films for the screen.

Work with real filmmakers to create your film! On July 14 invite your family and friends to a real theatre and see your cinematic debut!

Film camp is only $200.00 for one week and that includes lights, sound and cameras. Bring your lunch and your ideas for a great week of filmmaking.

The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative is a non-profit, artist run centre charity that brings independent film to Saskatchewan. We also provide resources for local independent filmmakers to make their films right here in their province; resources include equipment, technical expertise and funding support.
